Castles, barns and long summer days

Kent weddings run long. Castles like Hever and Leeds, converted barns and country gardens all lend themselves to a full day outdoors, and the hair has to hold through photographs in the grounds, the speeches and the evening. Maidstone is around 38 miles from central London by road.

The booking starts with a trial four to eight weeks before the day, where the look is settled against the dress and veil. On the morning I come to you with the full kit, and the timings work back from the ceremony with the drive from London already accounted for.

The booking

What it includes

01

The trial

Four to eight weeks before the day, in a hotel suite or at home, timed around London dates. Two looks, sometimes three, tried against the dress, the veil and the earrings, until nothing is left open for the morning.

02

Shaped to the dress

The neckline, the veil, the weight of the earrings. The hair is built around what you are wearing, not chosen in isolation, and adjusted if the dress is decided after the trial.

03

Built to hold

Set to last from the ceremony through the speeches and onto the floor, with prep and finish suited to the hair, the season and the venue: a marquee, a barn or a ballroom.

04

The morning, brought to you

Mobile, with the full kit, to wherever the morning starts: the family home, a room at the venue, or a bridal suite. The running order is planned back from the ceremony time.

Planning the whole morning? The wedding hair timeline works back from your date, and wedding party hair covers mothers, bridesmaids and family. Now booking for 2026 & 2027.

Bridal FAQ

Common questions

Yes. I travel from London to the family home, a bridal suite or the venue itself, from Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge to Maidstone and Canterbury. The drive is built into the running order so the bride is never the last thing to be finished.

That is what the trial is for. Prep and finish are chosen for the hair, the season and the setting, whether that is a walk across the grounds for photographs or a breezy marquee, so the look that leaves the trial is the one that lasts into the evening.

Three to six months ahead is comfortable, longer for peak summer weekends. Send the date first; once it is held, the trial is booked four to eight weeks before the wedding.

Yes. Mothers, bridesmaids and family can be added to the booking. Share the number of people and the ceremony time, and the order of the morning is planned from there.

No. I focus on hair only. Most brides book a specialist makeup artist alongside me, and I coordinate the timings and work side by side with your artist on the morning.
